It’s always a pleasure to enjoy Indian delicacies at this restaurant. The food is homely, and lovely. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. Do visit if you are craving for Indian street food or just wanting to have a wholesome lunch or dinner. Did I mention that I visit this place atleast once a month
It's wonderful that Plymouth has finally become somewhere you can go to find amazing ethnic cuisines! The Clay Oven is one of the latest editions to this growing list of amazing and delightful restaurants. The menu has an assortment of mostly northern Indian food with a few southern favorites included. My family enjoyed the appetizer sampler, lamb kabobs, coconut chicken curry, and chicken biryani. Everything was outstanding and fragrantly spiced! The biryani portion was big enough for a wedding celebration! I suspect if we would have ordered the biryani hotter, it would have come more traditionally spiced, but my company that evening did not have quite the spice tolerance I have. The service was fast and super friendly. We also saw a lot of Indian customers which in my mind means this place is amazing! The Clay Oven comes highly recommended from me. Pricing is on par with other Indian dining establishments but with slightly better value with their larger portions.
I am in town from New York and this is some of the best Indian food I’ve had...anywhere. Huge palate of flavors and menu options, all food was extremely fresh and prices very fair and reasonable. Definitely coming back here next time I’m in the twin cities.
I usually order from a certain Indian grill in the area, which is amazing, but have wanted to try Clay Oven for some time. Had an offer on app today so I finally did. O M G We got the Chicken Makhani. Price is comparable. Entree portions are a little smaller, rice sides larger. SO worth it. Literally in food paradise right now. New favorite. Couldn't even wait for the husband to get plates..
Best service, best food, so clean not even one single thing to complain about just perfect and if there is another word above, perfect, I would say perfect. And charles was our servant and he’s so nice fast so friendly. I will give him 10 out of 10 and I will add some pictures.
Good food and ambience. We tried dahi puri, panneer Tikka sizzler, chicken Tikka masala and lamb biryani with bread basket. Overall good food. Very clean restaurant

The food is consistently great, but the dosa is the real star. It’s huge—crispy, flavorful, and paired with a variety of dips that bring out the best of South Asian cuisine. Always worth the visit!
Great food, beautiful restaurant. So clean. Amazing overall. Very reasonable price. I will definitely return. Charles was an amazing host.
